Vesper Cross by Alchemy Gothic P168 - Pendant only

"A florally illuminated antique post, crossed with the outstretching wings of an evening bat."

A pewter gothic pendant, formed of a pointed floral decorated vertical cross and a bronze toned horizontal bat. Bat wings also encircle the centre of the cross. No necklace chain is included but the original jump ring remains.

The back of the pendant is stamped with 1995, Pewter, Made In England, The Alchemy Carta and 2 A circle logos. The necklace was originally produced from 1995 and was discontinued by Alchemy around 2007 and not reissued since then. There was also a brooch/clasp produced of the same design which is also discontinued. The pendant would also have originally been on a curb link chain, however this is missing.

The pendant is used but is overall in very good condition with some signs of wear including a mark on the nose of the bat and a few marks long the edges, which are all cosmetic. Pewter is a darker metal which often has an aged appearance and this is an earlier design with a rougher finish. Please see photos for details.

The pendant has been gently cleaned and lightly polished.

The pendant is approximately 6cm wide by 6.6cm long. The pendant is made of good quality English Pewter and the jump ring is stainless steel.
