"Black ribbon choker of funerary grace with black Onyx gemstone."

A black onyx cabochon is set in a delicate frame with leaves and spike details. The cabochon frame hangs from a pendant with a skull amongst curling leaves. The pendant is attached at both sides to a black satin ribbon necklace which is finished at the ends with a bat wing clasp. The bat wing clasps can be moved to adjust the size of the necklace.

The pendant is stamped with 2005, the Alchemy Rose logo, ENGLAND and the Alchemy circle logo. The cabochon frame is also stamped with the Alchemy Rose logo and the toggle half of the bat wing clasp is also stamped with a small A. The necklace was originally produced from 2005 and was discontinued by Alchemy around 2015 and not reissued since then.

The necklace is used but is in very good condition with few signs of age and wear. Pewter is a darker metal with an aged appearance, and the back of the pendant is darker than the front. The black cabochon is undamaged with no scratches or chips. The bat wing clasp can be fastened securely, however like all necklaces of this style it can come undone if pressure is applied or the toggle is misaligned. The ribbon is the original and in good condition with no fraying. The ends have been sealed to prevent fraying. Please see photos for details.

The necklace has been gently cleaned and lightly polished.

The pendant is approximately 2.1cm high by 7cm long. The cabochon frame pendant is 3cm high by 3.3cm wide. The necklace is approximately 26.7cm long with an approximate 49cm circumference. The pendants and bat wing clasp are made of good quality English Pewter and any other fastenings are stainless steel.
