Speculum N182 by Alchemy Gothic - original 1995 design

An ornate polished mirror pendant with inscription around the edges and a seated figure peering at their skeletal reflection. The pendant hangs from a waxed leather thong and is finished with a toggle clasp. The underside edge of the pendant is stamped with
Made In England, Pewter, 1995 and the Alchemy circle logo. This necklace was originally produced from 1995, discontinued by Alchemy in the last few years and never reissued since. The necklace was changed by Alchemy in 2018, with a different font style for the inscription around the mirror, some extra detail to the figure and scroll detail added to the top lettering, so this version predates that as it is the original design.

This piece is stock from a shop that closed down in the late 2000s..

The necklace is new without tags. As it has been in storage for many years, the original leather thong is dry and hard in some places. Please see photos for details.

The pendant is approximately 6.2cm long by 4.4cm at the widest point. The necklace measures 46.5cm from the toggle clasp to the end of the pendant and has an approximate 80cm circumference. The pendant is made of good quality English Pewter and all fastenings are stainless steel.
